Abstract

The rapid rise of online educational tools has revolutionized the landscape of teaching and learning, especially for the digital generation. Among these tools, Canva has emerged as a powerful resource, offering an array of benefits to both educators and students in delivering information and fostering knowledge retention. This paper presents a novel application of Canva as an effective teaching aid for enhancing Arabic reading skills in children through a playful approach. Employing a descriptive research design, this study explores the integration of Canva into the language learning curriculum for young learners. The research method involved collecting and analyzing relevant documents, as well as conducting a micro-teaching session under the supervision of an experienced instructor. The findings of this study demonstrate that utilizing Canva in teaching Arabic reading garnered positive feedback and yielded encouraging results. The playful nature of the approach engaged and motivated students, making the learning process more enjoyable and effective. Consequently, this paper advocates for the wider adoption of Canva, not only for Arabic reading but also for other language skills and subjects where its suitability and relevance have been verified. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on digital learning tools and their impact on language education. As technology continues to shape the educational landscape, the integration of innovative tools like Canva can unlock new possibilities for fostering language proficiency in children and learners of all ages.

 

ملخص البحث

يعد ظهور الأدوات التعليمية عبر الإنترنت بمثابة إضافة مهمة لوسائل التعليم والتعلم للجيل الرقمي. تساعد التكنولوجيا المعلم والطلاب على توصيل المعلومات والمعرفة بسهولة. تهدف هذه الورقة إلى تقديم واحدة من أكثر وسائل التدريس فائدة وهي تطبيق كانفا لاستخدامها في تعليم القراءة للأطفال بأسلوب اللعب. يستخدم هذا البحث منهجا وصفيا وتطبيقيا لجمع وتحليل البحوث والمقالات ذات الصلة وعقد التدريس المصغر تحت إشراف المشرف. نتيجة لذلك، تلقت هذه الطريقة ردودا جيدة وينصح باستخدامها أكثر في مهارات لغوية، بل مواد أخرى أيضا.
